The Company Seamas O hEocha Teo was  in 1990 by established Plaster Conservator Seamus O hEocha.

Seamas served an apprenticeship in plastering (1979-1983), which involved a scholarship to Paris, where French Plastering techniques were learnt and a scholarship to Venice, where the history of Architecture, Conservation principles and In-situ modelling techniques were learnt.

He was subsequently employed by several renowned companies both in Dublin and London, specialising in ornate plaster work until 1987. From 1987 to 1990 he worked as freelance plaster conservator.
